Watercolour. Illustration for dummy book. Dad drove a Bren gun carrier during the war. He rigged up a hammock to keep himself off the ground and away from snakes but one morning was woken by a camel, right in his face!

Watercolour. Illustration for dummy book. During the war, dad was able to spend some time in the villages, where he was fascinated by the relaxed seeming lifestyle in Sierra Leone.

"Space Mice" These were the first works I did for the BBC Television "Jackanory"program in 1979.The images were all about 50cm W by 35cm H. The camera moved across the image and could zoom in to give a semblance of motion.
