Covid-19 Response
As I already work from home, I will continue to draw commissioned portraits for the time being however changes to the regular process are as follows:
I will continue to offer a free service to take a photo of your pet while practicing social distancing. I now have a telephoto lens so that I can maintain a safe distance from you and your pet while taking a photo. However, if you would prefer not to do this and you have high resolution photos of your pet already, I am more than happy for you to email photos and to work from those.
As far as I know, the Covid-19 virus only remains on porous surfaces for 24hrs. To be sure, after finishing your portrait I will place wrap it up and leave it for two days. I will then hand it over using plastic gloves when you collect it. Alternatively I can post your drawing to you. Please get in touch if you have any queries.
Thanks Maggie for bringing our dog Jack to life in portraiture, so wonderfully capturing his features and expression. It’s him just as we remember him.
You made it so easy to pick the right style of portrait for his personality and we were amazed how much his character came through in the finished sketch.
